Diablo 4 Hotfix Accelerates Season 8 Progression and Tones Down Boss Power

Blizzard has rolled out a major hotfix for Diablo 4 Season 8, dramatically improving how quickly players can earn reputation while dialing down the difficulty of diablo 4 buy gold key event bosses.

Faster Reputation Farming in Season 8

This update significantly increases the reputation rewards for completing various in-game activities, helping players advance through the new Season Journey and unlock high-value rewards faster:

  • World Bosses: from 250 to 2000 reputation

  • Blood Maiden: from 250 to 1000

  • Regular Bosses: from 250 to 750

  • Pit Bosses: from 750 to 1000

  • Belial Ambush Event: from 1000 to 1500

These changes mean players can now reach the final tiers of the Ladder of Hatred and access powerful loot — including Resplendent Chests and Mythic Uniques — much quicker.

Event Bosses Receive Nerfs for Fairer Gameplay

To balance the game, Blizzard has also nerfed some event bosses that were previously overwhelming, especially for lower-level players. For example:

  • The Belial phantom invasion now has reduced HP at lower levels.

  • Andariel’s flaming skulls now deal 450% weapon damage, down from a massive 1800%.

These changes aim to maintain challenging content without creating frustrating difficulty spikes.

This hotfix strikes a balance between accelerating seasonal progression and refining the difficulty curve for in-game bosses. It’s a win for both new Diablo 4 Items and veteran players looking to maximize rewards in Diablo 4’s evolving seasonal content.
