u4gm Torvian Hand of the Saviour Winning Tactics Path of Exile 2

Facing Torvian, Hand of the Saviour, feels like walking into a fight that’s as much about reading him as it is about hitting him. You’ll notice early on that his first phase is pretty straightforward – a slow, deliberate three-swing sword combo that’s easy to dodge if you stay calm. Step back or simply roll through him and you’re fine.

The tricky part comes with those area attacks. His big ground slam marks out a glowing circle on the floor – it’ll wreck your health if you linger. As soon as you see him start that wind-up, be ready to move. Then there are the holy orbs. These float across the arena, tracking you wherever you go.

You can’t break them, so you’re better off dragging them toward one side while keeping Torvian on the other. That way you’ve got space to work on him without getting boxed in. This stage is all about movement, patience, and keeping your cool – think less about smashing damage numbers and more about surviving long enough to spend your PoE 2 Currency wisely later.

The moment his health dips around halfway, the fight changes pace completely. Torvian speeds up, hits harder, and the consecrated ground you’ve been avoiding now slows you down too. If you get caught inside it, you’re in big trouble.

This is also when he pulls out his nastiest move – the divine beam. You’ll see a thin line of light on the ground just before it fires. Don’t stand there thinking about it, just use a dash or any movement skill immediately. That beam doesn’t care how tough your build is; if it connects, you’re probably done.

Alongside that, he starts calling in angelic adds. On their own they’re nothing special, but if you let them pile up, they’ll overwhelm you. Some will even heal Torvian if they get the chance. Your safest play is to drop whatever you’re doing and clear them as soon as they show. It might feel like you’re losing precious time on the boss, but trust me, dealing with them early stops you from being buried later.

From here it’s a matter of keeping rhythm in the chaos – dodge the blade swings, dance around the slowing ground, kite orbs to dead corners, and don’t even think about testing the beam. Take shots at Torvian when you know you’ve got the window, and be ready to switch focus the second adds spawn.

It’s a war of attrition more than a quick kill, so don’t get drawn into reckless trades. Play smart, keep breathing, and eventually you’ll drop him – maybe just in time to look for ways to buy PoE 2 Items you’ve been eyeing for the next fight.
