u4gm Diablo IV Why Butcher Runs Still Feel Like the Fastest Farm

If you're pushing through Season Splendor right now, you've probably already noticed the event clock feels a lot tighter than expected. Farming Fresh Meat by just roaming and killing whatever's in front of you sounds fine on paper, but in practice it's way too slow. If you want those Bloodied caches before the event ends, you need a clean loop and a build that doesn't waste time. A lot of players are also sorting out gear, mats, and even Diablo 4 Gold On Season 12 SC while they grind, so efficiency matters more than ever.

Start with Butcher summons

The fastest route is still repeated Butcher kills. Don't overthink it. Get as many Pounds of Flesh as you can from killstreak rewards, goblins, and regular monster drops, then head straight into the summon encounter. Once you use the item, The Butcher shows up, and if your build is even halfway decent, the fight barely lasts. That's the key. A standard run gives a small amount of Fresh Meat, but the summon item changes the whole equation and turns each clear into a huge payout. You'll feel the difference almost straight away. This is the loop most people come back to because nothing else matches it when your goal is pure event currency per minute.

Use Helltides when your stash runs dry

There's a good fallback when your Pounds of Flesh start running low. Jump into Helltides and look for Meaty Offerings from chests, packs, and event rewards. These are worth using, not saving. Once activated, you transform into The Butcher for a short burst, and that window gets chaotic fast. Enemies pour in from every side, which is exactly what you want. It's not quite as quick as the direct boss loop, but it's steady, easy to repeat, and it builds seasonal progress at the same time. You can also break up the grind a bit, which honestly helps. Running one activity for too long gets dull, even when it's efficient.

Spend your Fresh Meat where it actually helps

A lot of players farm well, then waste the rewards. The best use of Fresh Meat is Bloodied armour, plain and simple. Those killstreak bonuses do real work. More crit chance, more attack speed, faster clears, smoother runs. That feeds back into the farm and makes the whole event less of a slog. Rings and amulets look tempting, but most of the time they just don't return the same value unless you're chasing something very specific. Also, keep opening your Seasonal Reputation Board rewards as soon as you earn them. The caches often give you more materials, more event currency, and sometimes the exact consumables needed to keep the cycle going without stopping.

Keep expectations realistic

If you're secretly hoping this event will shower you with Mythics, it probably won't. Some players dump absurd amounts of Fresh Meat and still walk away with nothing special. That's just how it goes. It's smarter to treat Mythics as a bonus and focus on what you can control: fast clears, better armour, and steady progress at higher difficulty, ideally Torment IV or above if your build can handle it. That approach gets results you can actually feel. And if you're the type who likes to speed up the rough parts of the grind, a lot of players also keep U4GM in mind for game currency and item support while they focus on the farming loop that matters most.
